Who we are
These terms govern Build Young LLC's website and programs. We are a Washington limited liability company. Contact: team@build-young.com.
The program
We provide live, hands-on instruction, a learning dashboard, and project-based exercises. The selected cohort's schedule, tuition, lessons, and dates are shown at enrollment; pace varies by cohort. Participants build and present their own products. Revenue, college admission, employment, and business results are not guaranteed.
Eligibility
Participants must be at least 13. A parent or guardian completes student enrollment/payment and confirms eligibility. Professional-program participants must be adults. Do not submit information or create an account for a child under 13.
Payment and separate tools
Build Young tuition is a one-time payment at the selected cohort's displayed price, not a recurring subscription or automatic renewal. Final Stripe checkout must match that price and payment type; mismatches are held for review before access is granted. Third-party AI tools, domains, and other services may have separate charges or subscriptions governed by their providers. They are not included unless expressly stated.
Refund policy
Cancel before your cohort's first session for a full refund. Once classes start, withdraw for a flat 75% refund through the end of the first week. After the first week tuition is non-refundable, subject to applicable law. Contact us to request cancellation or a refund.
Education and AI limitations
Instruction and AI practice are educational, not licensed business, financial, medical, or legal advice. AI explanations can be incorrect. Verify outputs, protect credentials, and do not put personal or confidential customer information into practice prompts. Participants and families are responsible for their own products and revenue.
Your work and public use
You retain ownership of your work and must have permission to use submitted materials. Showcases do not automatically publish or transfer ownership. Public/promotional use requires founder review and documented written permission from the adult participant or parent/guardian. Do not submit infringing, unlawful, or sensitive content. First-year builder prize
In each eligible paid student cohort, the first enrolled student to make a real, arms-length sale to a genuine paying customer, not a friend or family member, within one year of enrollment may claim a refund of tuition paid. The student must provide verifiable proof of sale, a short video about their product/experience, and parent/guardian written permission for promotional use. One award per cohort, to the first student who qualifies and completes these requirements. Build Young verifies eligibility and resolves questions in good faith. No tuition refund prize applies to a scholarship seat with no tuition paid or a professional cohort. Changes apply only to future enrollments. Conduct and accessibility
Keep credentials private and treat participants respectfully. We may restrict disruptive, abusive, unlawful, or infringing use, consistent with applicable law and the refund policy. Contact us for help accessing the program or an accessible alternative.
Changes and contact
We post updated terms here. Later website updates do not retroactively change an existing enrollment's refund or prize rules. Questions: team@build-young.com.
